Every custom design begins with personal face-to-face communication. Discovering the wants and needs of the client is the foundation upon which the 'placemaking' process builds.

I strive to create authentic designs that are inspired by the local context and include memorable detailing. An understanding of the client and the project site helps me to create innovative solutions, and to develop dynamic experiences within each design.

Service: ARB Consultation

I have many years of experience working with Architectural Review Boards and Home Owners Associations to help establish and maintain design guidelines that enhance unique communities.

Creating a communication bridge between the owner - architect - contractor- and ARB requires patience, listening, and a deep comprehension of the underlying guidelines. I understand how to promote the important balance between administering ARB rules and regulations while at the same time encouraging innovation and creativity to help establish vibrant thriving neighborhoods.

Some of the communities that I have worked for include: Sea Colony, Anastasia Dunes, Sea Grove, Beach Haven, Ocean Ridge, Pirate's Cove, and Grand Landings.

Service: Renderings

Sometimes there is a need to demonstrate the character of a design in a format other than standard blueprint plans and elevations. I have worked with Photoshop and Sketch-up to create colored elevations and 3D renderings for presentation purposes. These images have then been used for fund raising events, developer sales events, as well as realtor brochures and presentation packages.

Service: Model Home Design

When a new community requires a custom model home design to showcase specific styles and features, my firm has many years of experience putting these concerns front and center. Successful collaborations with contractors and developers have helped create Model Home Designs that meet both the rigorous demands of budget as well as aesthetic design and help jump-start new communities.
